What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old traditional wellness system originating in India. Translated from Sanskrit as the “Science of Life” (Ayur = life, Veda = knowledge), it emphasises holistic living, dietary alignment, mindful daily habits, and establishing individual organic balance within our body’s constitution.
What are the three doshas?
The three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — are biological energies found throughout the human body and mind. They govern all physical and mental processes. Copper water vessels help balance all three doshas by gently ionising and alkalising stored water overnight.

Is the copper in your bottles and glasses pure?
Absolutely. Every bottle, glass, and cup in our inventory is hand-spun and hammered from 100% pure certified raw copper. We do not use aluminium linings, cheap tin coatings, or synthetic heavy-metal alloys of any kind.
Will the copper taste affect my water?
A slight metallic taste may be noticeable in the first few uses. This is completely natural and indicates your copper is authentic and uncoated. After a few days of regular use and cleaning with lemon and salt, the taste becomes imperceptible.
How long should I store water in a copper bottle?
For Ayurvedic benefits, store filtered water for a minimum of 6–8 hours — overnight is ideal. Fill your bottle before sleep and drink the first glass on an empty stomach the following morning.
Cleaning & Care
How do I clean and maintain my copper bottle?
Because our copper is completely pure and unlacquered on the inside, it will naturally tarnish or oxidise over time — this is a sign of authenticity. To restore its shine: mix the juice of half a fresh lemon with 1 tsp of raw salt and warm water, shake vigorously for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Never use a dishwasher or abrasive steel pads.
How often should I clean it?
Clean with lemon and salt once a week, and rinse with plain water daily. Always allow to air-dry completely before storing to prevent interior oxidation.
Can I use my copper bottle for hot beverages?
We recommend copper bottles for room temperature or cold water only. Do not use for acidic drinks (juices, fizzy drinks) or hot beverages as this can speed up oxidation and affect taste.
